Nhow hotel lobby | Installation

Nhow hotel commissioned VERVOLMAKEN to design an installation for the lobby. Niels van Hout created a humorous ode to domesticity and the festive season: Plants grow out of chairs, animals enter the room in procession and dinner is served on spinning plates.

The ‘Dinner for Two’ installation contains all the typical VERVOLMAKEN elements:

Simplicity vs. multiplicity, designed vs. readymades, bold vs. detailed scenes, movement, humour and love for the greens. Melted together through style and dipped in color RAL#1027.

The Hotel is situated in Rem Koolhaas’ skyscraper next to the Erasmusbridge in Rotterdam.
