In search of creating furniture out of basic materials VERVOLMAKEN designed the Happy Recession table.

The idea was born during the economic crisis, calling it the 'Happy Recessie tafel' (happy recession table).

Keeping the table as airy and light as possible, random sized basic slats simply lie on trestles:
designed vs. readymades, simplicity vs. multiplicity.
